Improvement Required Notice
The Brownsville Learning Academy was rated “Improvement Required” for the 2017 Accountability. This rating requires the campus to develop at targeted improvement plan for 2018-2019 and to determine targeted elements of the Campus Improvement Plan strategies to use during the 2017-2018 school year to improve student performance.
As part of the process, a stakeholder meeting must be held at the campus before the Campus Improvement Plan targeted elements are presented to the BISD Board of Trustees for approval. The public meetings for stakeholder input were held on September 19, 2017 at the Cafeteria at the BLA Cummings location. Session one was from 3:00 to 4:00 PM and session two was from 5:15 to 6:15 PM. These sesssions were held to discuss the performance of the campus and solicit input on the campus performance objectives.
